On Tuesday 30th September 2025 on the eve of Black History Month, we officially launched the MOBOLISE AI Community bringing together innovators, leaders, and gamechangers to celebrate a new chapter in uplifting Black talent and advancing AI literacy.
It was a powerful evening, filled with energy, insight, and purpose. Across the room, we shared eye-opening stats about the lack of diversity in tech a reminder of why our mission matters. With less than 2% of the UK tech workforce identifying as Black, the need for representation, access, and opportunity has never been more urgent. MOBOLISE is here to change that.
We were joined by incredible organisations such as Canva, Nationwide, Black Society Club, Mentivity, DigiLearning, and more all changemakers dedicated to building a more inclusive and equitable tech ecosystem.
The conversations highlighted why the MOBOLISE AI Community is so important creating space for Black talent to connect, learn, and thrive in the world of AI and emerging technologies. From inspiring talks to creative performances, the evening captured the power of collaboration and the shared commitment to push for lasting change.
