Arlyne is a CIMA qualified Accountant working as a Commercial Finance Manager at Virgin Media O2 where she champions wellbeing in the workplace. She is the founder of Roots to Froots financial wellness platform. She seeks to improve the community’s relationship with money thus improving overall wellbeing. Roots to Froots is a social enterprise aimed at supporting the community with financial knowledge, resources and guidance.

Nathan Jon Christian Smith

HSBC UK | Global Head of the Surveillance Issues

Nathan Jon Christian Smith has worked for HSBC for 12 years having joined the firm in 2010, he has a wealth of experience in the Financial Services industry having previously spent 4 years at RBS as well as 5 years at JPMorgan Chase Bank.

During his 12 years at HSBC Nathan has worked in a variety of roles and spent 3 years living in Malaysia and the Philippines leading Fixed Income Securities Operations teams, as well as 4 years in Global Banking heading up Risk Governance & Reporting and latterly being the M&A Chief Control Officer. In his current role Nathan is the Global Head of the Surveillance Issues and Actions Management.

Nathan is a member of the BPN (Black Professional Network) at HSBC.

Danielle Cherubin

HSBC UK | Senior Licensing Sales Manager, Consumer Products Games and Publishing, EMEA

Danielle Cherubin (she/her) has worked for HSBC for 6 years, working across Business Finance and Corporate Relationship Management in the US, UK, Asia, and Middle East. She is the Co-Chair of the London HSBC Pride network and the Commercial Banks Ethnic Minority outreach programme.

Before joining HSBC, Danielle worked in organisational management for universities and charities and got her degrees in Psychology and Management & Organisation.

Stefan Johnson

HSBC UK | Trade Finance Director

Stefan Johnson is a Trade Finance Director for HSBC’s Mid-Market Enterprise, where he specialises in supporting businesses with lending for importing & exporting goods or services. Stefan’s banking career spans over a decade and includes several years of Business Relationship Management experience looking after clients in the tech & entertainment industry, plus sports personalities and high-profile fashion brands.

Outside of banking, Stefan runs a video production company that creates content to help small brands reach their growth plans and often speaks with entrepreneurs via the Prince’s Trust, Enterprise Nation & UK Black Business Show to help unlock their full potential. His biggest challenge? Being the proud co-founder of 3 young children.
